Art Deco Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring with Ornate Gallery in 18k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Art Deco era three stone ring, modeled in 18k white gold and featuring three plump old European cut diamonds, along with a smattering of smaller old cut supporters. The primary diamonds are bead-set into geometric seats (a diamond and two pennants), and the entire ring face is finished with fine milgrain detail. The ring's gallery and shoulders are extra wonderful, the shoulders being deeply engraved with a closed lotus flower motif, and the cutwork gallery a striking pattern of ornate curling forms. This ring has a big presence in wear, and a flat profile. The diamonds are set quite flush which makes it ideal for daily wear. This would make a lovely engagement ring— traditionally three stone rings symbolize a couple's past present and future together.
