Art Deco Era Ruby & OMC Diamond Double Halo Ring in Platinum
* * SOLD * *
A beautiful, Art Deco Era halo ring, modeled in platinum, whose central gem is a natural, old cut, .80 carat, raspberry-colored ruby. This vibrant, old ruby is held in a four-tab, picture-corner style setting, where it is surrounded by two deep halos of sparkling old mine cut diamonds. This glittering, 1.5 carat, diamond surround gives our low profile darling a big visual presence, in wear! The diamonds are held in crimped, modified bezels, where they are also supported by beads— this gives the ring head a smooth outer-edge. The ring's under-gallery features a subtle, openwork motif of circles and crescents. Its cathedral shoulders are embellished with trios of bead-set diamonds. Its slender, square shank tapers toward the base. We love this ring's bold, graphic quality, its perfectly round face and its almost hypnotic design of concentric circular elements! It would make a wonderful, unusual engagement or anniversary ring.
