Edwardian Era Diamond Set Lion Mask Locket in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *

An Edwardian era locket, made in 14k yellow gold and featuring a handsome lion. This noble beast holds a sparkling old European cut diamond in his mouth, and two further diamonds are set into his eyes, because he's all about vigilance. This guy has a contemplative expression like many of the lions of his day, and a softness around the eyes; his mane carved with beautiful curls and movement. This locket still has it's original photo shield and ring intact. The 14k carat gold in especially high color, because of its bloomed finish. A lovely monogram is engraved in script on the locket's reverse.
