A striking Art Nouveau era ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, whose serpentine face terminates in a pair of prominent diamond curls. These primary old mine cut diamonds are held in eight-prong buttercup settings, which are "ruffled" at the base. The ring's leaf-like, diamond-set shoulders are mirrored; they appear to be grasping the ribbon-like middle of the ring face, which floats between them. The ring's shoulders and face are encrusted with charming, bead-set, omc cushion cut diamonds. Its half-round, yellow gold shank tapers toward the base. We love the graceful, balanced composition of this setting, and the ring's many soulful, hand-cut diamonds! This would make a wonderful, unusual engagement ring!
